Remote management, also referred to as Remote Automation Platform, provides a remote monitoring and control solution based on independent field devices, with no need for a central site. The remote field devices communicate on an event-driven basis with both operators and software.
The Vizimax RightWON™ Remote Automation Platform brings remote management capabilities into a promising new era, with features that were once available only from a costly SCADA system.
Remote data acquisition: At the remote site, the RightWON acquires status information directly from the attached equipment, through a local communication port or I/O signals.
Local data processing: The RightWON permits local processing of the information through an integrated IEC 61131-3 compatible soft PLC. Variables acquired from the attached equipment are digitally processed, and decision filters generate alarms and alerts according to user-defined criteria.
Automatic transmission: When an alarm or alert is generated, the remote site RightWON transmits it to all persons concerned via their favorite media type: email, text message (SMS), voice message or pager.
Centralized control: For the larger network, RightWON FRONTAL software collects and logs all significant events from the remote units, redirects all alarms, and manages the workforce roster according to customizable user profiles.
Remote monitoring and commands: The RightWON can be accessed via web browser from any location for viewing current status, event history and trending. The operator can also directly control remote site equipment settings via I/O module or local communication port.
Ease of use: RightWON operations are accessible to the non-technical user. Alert and status messages are broadcasted via SMS and e-mail to your hand-held device. Access to any RightWON can also be programmed via an OPC server under your control.
Compatibility: The RightWON is compatible with all regulations and standards governing industrial products, access security and data transfer, and communicates seamlessly with all equipment using both standard and custom protocols.
