The RightWON Configuration Suite is a software program used for programming the RightWON units at all remote sites. It is installed on a supervisory PC that is connected to a RightWON CPU via the USB management port, labelled TOOL, on the CPU front panel.
The Configuration Suite includes an intuitive HMI editor, the Copalp Straton Workbench®, for fine-tuning WiseWON tags, the event generator, trending configurator and all remote management properties. Fully IEC 61131-3 compliant, this HMI editor operates in both local and remote modes, and is able to program all remote units in the WON via the communications network and the RightWON’s protocol gateway.
The systems integrator* first customizes the locally attached RightWON unit, including:
- all ports, protocols and variables used
- all points or objects which are to be managed remotely
- the events and journal of events
- call direction and communications network properties
- users of the system and their access privileges
- allowed control commands and automated processes
- the acknowledgments required from monitoring personnel
- and graphical representations of remote site operations.
* The RightWON Configuration Suite may also be used by anyone with a moderate level of technical expertise, familiarity with the equipment base and workforce roster, and an understanding of the specific remote management requirements of the application.
