The RightWON includes the Copalp Straton Workbench® Soft PLC, which provides a web based HMI for easy access to programming, monitoring and control functions using any web browser. Processing and decision-making are carried out on the integrated IEC 61131-3 module, with object-oriented parameter setting, redundancy and distributed backup and operation.
The Soft PLC can calculate, do logic, generate files, manipulate variables, thresholds and machine cycles. It depends on particular variables to make decisions or to take a particular action at a specific time of day, and uses the current status of objects to control the categories, e.g. to close a category if a certain type of event or message comes in.
The RightWON’s Straton engine automates a variety of processes and provides only critical information to the persons concerned. You can set up different groups of people, or specific individuals, to be informed of each type of alarm. Alarms are also linked to the scheduling of personnel and their communication preferences. Flexible commands permit multiple sequencing of alarms when required for different teams.
All Soft PLC functions conform to the IEC 61131-3 standard, making the RightWON compatible with all other Straton runtime engines. DNP3 (Distributed Network Protocol) is used in communication stacks to facilitate communications between all data acquisition and control equipment.
